New book review:
The Senator’s Wife by Liv Constantine
Summary:
Sloane Chase has recently married another senator. Yes, she was married to one senator previously who was murdered right in front of her.
Sloane is preparing for a major hip surgery due to her lupus and needs to hire an aide to help her. Athena seems like a godsend, especially as Sloane begins to have many complications. Looks can be deceiving because Athena begins to ask a lot of questions while she’s hanging around, and Sloane wonders if Athena is as perfect as she seems.
My Thoughts:
This domestic drama encounters similar themes like one of my favorite shows Scandal. There were some times where I really questioned the female characters and thinking they were weak, but then there was a twist I never saw coming!
I always love any of Liv Constantine’s books and know it will be a solid read with a great twist!
