Summary:
A year ago Isabella’s son, Mason, was taken without a trace from her home when she was asleep. Isabella has not been able to sleep for a year since Mason was taken. The case had minimal evidence and has taken a toll on her marriage as well.
Isabella is willing to do anything to get Mason back, so she agrees to be interviewed by a true crime podcaster. After the interview, some childhood memories resurface and make Isabella begin to question herself and everything else surrounding the night Mason was taken.
My Thoughts:
This was one of my favorite books so far for 2023. It was so well done. This was my first book by Stacy Willingham and will not be my last.
I definitely recommend trying to get this book into your reading rotation with what’s left of summer!!
