New book review: She Started It by Sian Gilbert

Summary:

This is a locked room thriller where all the characters and events come to a head on the island for an old high school acquaintance’s bachelorette party. The girls invited to the bachelorette party weren’t necessarily the nicest to Poppy, who is the guest of honor at the bachelorette party. They can’t understand why they were invited, but they all still agree to go……….which ends up being a pretty bad decision!

My Thoughts:

I thought this was a predictable thriller, but it definitely caught me off guard at times! I couldn’t have predicted a lot of what unfolds on this island!

This reminded me a little bit of a Lucy Foley book how she gives a lot of background info and flashbacks on each character and how the events unfolded at a location at a location with all the characters. If you liked Lucy Foley’s books, this would be a great read for you.
