Book Review: Dare to Lead by Brene Brown

Dare to Lead explores how we can lean into the vulnerability as leaders to become better human beings. She reminds the readers how to use empathy, connection, and courage as leaders. By using her extensive research and her personal experiences, Brene reminds us that we need to be vulnerable and have the tough conversations and live a whole-hearted life.

My Thoughts:

I’ve never met a Brene Brown book I didn’t love, and this one was another I loved. Brene Brown speaks to me like she is directly telling me what I need to hear to be a successful teacher and human being. I can find at least 50 things in each of her books to use in my daily life as a wife, mother, and teacher.

I have a copy of this book, but I chose to also purchase the Audible version with my monthly credit so I could hear Brene narrate the book to and from work every day. I highly suggest listening to any of Brene’s audio versions of her books if you don’t have the time to read them. Her voice inflection gets the point across so well.
