Summary:
Julia is a detective who is investigating a young woman named Olivia who has been seen on CCTV in an ally and then disappeared without a trace.
As she investigates, she is threatened by someone to frame another man for the disappearance of Olivia. If she reveals the truth, truth about someone in her family will surface. Julia is stuck in a place nobody would ever want to be.

Of course Gillian McAllister delivers again! This book sucked me into reading in just two days.
She raises the question with readers of what would you do to protect your loved ones. Julia’s character is an excellent female character that’s flawed and relatable.
