This book was a bit confusing to me. It went back and forth from Emma and Jane as narrators as they both had been tenants at One Folgate Street. Both characters are a bit unnerving and make some poor choices but their choices are a bit frustrating as a reader. The architect for One Folgate Street, Edward Monkton, has some similarities with Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey.
The constant plot twists and narrations from the girls are a bit confusing at times. It was a good book that I read quickly. I would give it 3.5 stars out of 5.
