This novel introduces the reader to two girls from different worlds who become best friends once they go to college. The Midwest born and raised Megan whose dad passed away when she was in high school meets Lauren who comes from a wealthy family with a political background.
When I picked up this book, I was thinking it would have been a thriller based on the title and cover. It is definitely not a thriller………it is a dramatic book that is very timely in the “me too” movement.
It is written very well with excellent character development. The intricate characters of Lauren and Megan make you feel like you are a part of their story.
This was a great book, especially considering the movement of women finally speaking up about injustices by men.
I gave this a 4/5 stars on Goodreads.
