My Thoughts:
This book is going to be a classic! This is one of the best books I’ve ever read! The description is absolutely beautiful and Delia Owens creates the character of Kya that I fell in love with. It is so uplifting to read a novel in which the reader can find the protagonist extremely likable. I haven’t read a book this beautiful for a long time. There were remnants of the story that reminded me a bit of To Kill a Mockingbird. I absolutely descriptive details and characterization. I felt as if I had been to the marsh myself. Delia Owens uses these vivid description of the marsh the nature that Kya experiences on a daily basis throughout the novel. This novel had everything that a classic should encompass!
