Book Review: Wreckage by Emily Bleeker

Summary:

Lillian and Dave Hall were virtually strangers when their plane crashed in the South Pacific. Three survivors remained and they lived on a deserted island for two years.

The novel switches from past to present and also switches narrators from Lillian to David. The public story and the private story of the saga on the island differs greatly.

Both are contacted for an interview by a serious journalist and the novel explores the interview while switching from past to present.

My Thoughts:

I enjoyed this book, although it moved a little slow at times. I listened to this on Audible and was intrigued to find out the “secrets” that the characters had. They were a little predictable, but I still enjoyed the stories of their survival on the island. This novel is more of a drama than a thriller or suspenseful book.
