Book Review: Her One Mistake by Heidi Perks

Harriet and Charlotte have been best friends, although Harriet remains a bit more secretive about her own personal life. Charlotte is asked to watch her best friend’s daughter at the school fair. Charlotte is a little overwhelmed at the fair, but tries to watch all the children as well as she can. Soon she realizes, she has lost her best friend’s daughter. Charlotte feels incredibly guilty. Harriet removes herself from Charlotte and refuses to talk to her as the authorities continue to question both families and search for the missing girl. This fast paced thriller will keep you guessing until the end.

My Thoughts:

This was one of my favorite books of the summer. I flew through this book. I really enjoyed Heidi Perks as an author. I loved all the twists and turns and the character development of both Charlotte and Harriet. I was on the edge of my seat worrying about where her daughter had gone or if she was still alive! This is a great read for a trip or if you have several hours on the beach or at a pool. You won’t regret reading this suspenseful thriller!
