Summary:
Lucy Harper is a bestselling mystery writer who is married to Dan. Dan is a man who enjoys the money that Lucy works so hard for. After Dan buys an expensive new home for their family without disclosing the information to Lucy, Lucy is unhappy but goes forward with the move. Lucy and Dan attempt to get to know their new neighbors after moving in, but Lucy wakes the next morning to find Dan is missing.
The disappearance of Dan brings back traumatic memories for Lucy of when her little brother disappeared without a trace thirty years ago.

My Thoughts:
This is my 4th book by Gilly Macmillan. I enjoy the twists and turns of all of Macmillan’s thrillers. I definitely was thrown off by some of the red herrings in this book, and I was surprised at the ending of the book!
