Summary:
Five friends who used to be the closest of friends in college decide to have a reunion at an isolated cabin on a lake. (We all know how that usually turns out!!)
Secrets and betrayal from the past still exist between the friends and they start to surface as the girls’ weekend goes exactly the opposite direction it should.
This book was previously published as The Lake House.
My Thoughts:
This starts out with a great premise which we all know will end up with some secrets coming out to hurt each other. It takes a pretty dark turn as some of the characters begin to get killed…….it seems to go a little bit like a slasher horror film. But then it does turn around and redeem itself at the end.
I would give this a 3.5 out of 5 stars!
