Summary:
Emmy Jackson, known as @mamabare on social media, is extremely popular for her honesty and connection to her audience. Emmy hands out parental advice to mothers, even though she may not be 100% qualified. The women idolize Emmy and love her for her advice and her ability to be candid about motherhood. With fame also comes the dark side of popularity though, and Emmy discovers all of her fans are not necessarily good fans. Emmy and her husband have to determine if the fame is worth the risk to their family.
My Thoughts:
This book definitely opens up the eyes into the exhausting life of an influencer. I didn’t realize how much goes into it and the risks that it opens someone up to, especially the “mommy” influencers.
It starts off slow but picks up about halfway and the ending is fast paced.
I would give this 3.5 out of 5 stars.
