Book review: The Family Holiday by Shalini Boland

Summary:

Beth and Amber plan to swap homes when they find each other on a holiday swap website. Beth’s family will be staying in an elaborate Italian villa, while Amber’s family will be staying in Beth’s quaint English cottage.

Things quickly go downhill for Beth’s family in the beautiful Italian villa. Beth was hoping to reconnect with her husband, Niall, during this vacation. The spiraling events began to get worse and worse, and it is apparent that this is not going to be the amazing trip they had planned.

My Thoughts:

Wow this book was quick paced and twist as usual for Shalini Boland‘s novels.

I always know I’m going to get sucked in quick to Boland’s books! The characters were very hard to like and relate to. Beth needed to get a backbone with her husband, and Amber was straight up nuts!

This is a great quick thriller, and it would be a great vacation read!
