Book review: Every Summer After by Carley Fortune

Summary:

Persephone Fraser spent six summers lakefront living the best teen lake life anyone could imagine! She had two teen brothers as neighbors that she spent morning till night having fun with. These fun friendships eventually turned into a relationship with one of the brothers. Sam and Persephone were in love and never thought anything would come between them. Then something happened to end this idealistic love at the lake. She threw herself into work and city life.

When Sam’s mom passes away, Persephone heads back to the lake to mourn her neighbor and offer her condolences to her two sons.

One weekend at the lake again………

My Thoughts:

Oh I loved this book! We also spend a lot of time at our lake house, so I have a special place in my heart for stories that take place at a lake.

I smiled, I cried, I fell in love with the relationship between Sam and Persephone.

If you like love stories, I highly suggest you read this!
