Summary:
Jade and Wells are newlyweds living in strange circumstances. Wells has a former wife, Sylvie, living in the guest house who had an accident and cannot speak.
One day when Jade must go into the guest house after being told not to enter, Sylvie gives her a note that says “Run.”
Alternating chapters from before Sylvie’s accident and Jade’s current situation help to shape the current scenario with Sylvie.
My Thoughts:
Minka Kent is one of my favorite authors, and she solidified it again with this book.
I really enjoyed this. I was apprehensive that it was going to be like Verity, but it had a lot of different aspects.
Another well done book by Minka Kent!
