Summary:
Sveta is a beautiful former model engaged to marry her wealthy fiancé, Charles. Much to her surprise, she is contacted from a lawyer about an inheritance from her uncle who had lived in Mexico. Much to Sveta’s surprise, she must travel to Mexico to complete this transaction with the lawyer who is coincidentally her former high school boyfriend named Lucas. This community where her uncle lived is known as Xanadu, and it makes Sveta and Lucas really uneasy.
The twists and turns that quickly follow make for a thrilling adventure.
My Thoughts:
This was a quick paced thriller that was a bit predictable, but I did enjoy it.
It would be a fun vacation read unless you are heading to a secluded resort in Mexico!
