Fractured by Catherine McKenzie reminded me a little bit of one of my favorite books, Big Little Lies. It has the same gossipy, Desperate Housewives feel to the plot.
Julie Prentice is a bestselling author who has endured a stalker and moves her family to a suburb of Cincinnati to try to escape the harassment.
Julie meets a neighbor, John, who also is an avid runner as herself. John discovers that Julie is the famous author of The Murder Game.
In Julie’s new safe area, she begins to experience harassment again.
The chapters switch the point of view from Julie to John and switch back and forth from past to present.
This was a good thriller that I finished in two days. Quick and easy read!
