Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinsborough centers around a single mother, Louise, who shares a kiss with a random guy at a bar. A few days later she realizes it is her new boss, David! Awkward! Louise bumps into a woman later who seems in need of a friend, only to find out that the new friend is David’s wife.
The chapters switch from character to character told in each character’s point of view. The suspense escalates through the novel as the reader gets a glimpse into a very strange marriage between David and his wife. Unanswered questions surface and Louise does not know what to believe.
