Book review: The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene Brown

Brene Brown is fabulous. After watching her TED talk and using it as a prompt for my college writing class that I teach, I decided to read The Gifts of Imperfection. Every woman should read this book. She gives the reader 10 guide posts to becoming a more authentic and self confident person who realizes that we can’t be perfect; we need to be authentic and true to ourselves.

I wish Brene Brown would write an adaptation for teenage girls. All of the issues in the book come up in a young woman’s life. Maybe she possibly will write a book for teenage girls??
