Book Reviews: Someone We Know by Shari Lapena

Olivia’s son has admitted to sneaking into neighbors’ homes and accessing their home computers for thrills. Olivia feels guilty and wants to leave an anonymous note in their mailboxes. In the meantime, another fellow neighbor is found dead and everyone begins to become a suspect. The reader won’t know who to believe in this domestic mystery!

My Thoughts:

Shari Lapena writes a great mystery. This novel is laid out with clues and red herrings throughout as a worthy mystery novel. The characters lead you astray throughout the novel ending with a satisfying ending. I loved the characterization in this book. It was setup very similar to An Unwanted Guest. I enjoy the way it is setup like a classic mystery with red herrings, multiple clues, and many suspects.
