Summary:
Rachel is a divorced mom who has had her share of problems. One morning when her daughter waits for the bus, she is kidnapped. Rachel is contacted by a stranger telling her that the only way she will get her daughter back is by kidnapping another child within 24 hours. If the person after that breaks the chain and doesn’t kidnap another child, your child will be murdered.
My Thoughts:
This is the stuff that nightmares are made of!! This book just holds every single one of my fears as a parent. It is so extremely horrifying and terrifying to read that you will not be able to put this book down!
It switches perspectives to give the reader some background on those who created The Chain. If you never were inside the mind of a sociopath, you will get some insight.
Head out and pick up this book and don’t let your kids out of your sight!!!!
