Perfect book for readers that enjoyed Big Little Lies!
The book starts immediately after a horrible fire in the spectacular office of Harry Woods. Similar to Big Little Lies, the book switches between time periods and features police interviews with characters. The point of view rotates between Laura, Janie, and Mia. Laura has just returned to work at Morris and Wood from maternity leave to find her temporary replacement has acquired a permanent position at the company. Laura soon finds that the much younger and outgoing replacement has taken over her biggest account. Harry’s wife, Janie, has given up a high level position to move to the new office location and stay home with her daughters. The secrets that these three ladies hold are deep and dangerous.
My Thoughts:
I loved this book just as much as Her One Mistake! I couldn’t put this down and loved the twist that Perks delivered at the very end, just like her last book!
