Book review: Confessions on the 7:45 by Lisa Unger

Summary:

Selena Murphy takes the 7:45 train home from work one evening and when it stops for no reason, she starts talking with a fellow commuter. Once Selena and Martha start talking, both confess secrets to each other. Martha is having an affair with her boss; Selena caught her husband having an affair with their nanny.

This chance encounter spirals into a downward direction. The next day, Selena’s nanny goes missing. Who was Martha? Does she have anything to do with this?

My Thoughts:

This was a fabulous thriller! This book had a buzz around it and often I’m apprehensive to read a book with such a buzz because I wonder if it will live up to the expectations. This one definitely did! This mystery is crafted well by Unger and keeps the reader on edge the whole way through!

Definitely read this book if you love a good thriller!!
