Summary:
Lydia Bird is living a relatively normal life for a young woman engaged to be married until her fiancé dies in a tragic car accident. Lydia is having trouble coping with the grief and is given sleeping pills from her doctor.
These sleeping pills open up a whole new world for Lydia………she now can be a part of a parallel universe where Freddie is still alive. Lydia lives for these pills and episodes where she lives life as normal with Freddie. Lydia begins to rush through her days just so she can get take another pill and enjoy the other world with Freddie.

This was quite a change from my usual thriller books. I really enjoyed the last book I read by Josie Silver, so after a plethora of thrillers, I needed a bit of a change.
I really enjoyed this bittersweet love story. It had the wit and humor reminiscent of Josie Silver, but also the tragic love story that we all know is over between Freddie and Lydia.
I enjoyed this book as a break from the intensity of my usual thrillers. It will make you laugh and also make you cry. If you enjoy a good bittersweet love story, this would be a great read for you!
