Book review: The Reunion by Kiersten Modglin

Summary:

Cait is a successful author who is returning to Hotel Lilith for her high school reunion. But this hotel holds many bad memories for Cait. As the weekend begins, many strange things begin with text messages, a package, and phone calls. This mystery unfolds as someone wants to expose Cait’s past in Hotel Lilith.

My Thoughts:

I read this on a snowy ski trip to Vail, and I loved the feeling of reading this in a ski lodge that reminded me of the setting Modglin created in this novel.

It was slow moving through a lot of the mystery building up and some dramatic insight in Cait’s head.

The twist at the end was well done, but a slow build up to it.
