Book review: The Second Marriage by Jess Ryder

Summary:

Lily begins working to tutor a little boy who had lost his mother. His father, Edward, says he is trying to protect his son by keeping him at home while he grieves the loss of his mother.

After a quick relationship, Lily ends up falling for Edward and getting engaged.

The first night that Lily tucks in Noah, her stepson, he tells her that the family is lying and his mother is actually alive. Are Edward and his two older daughters lying to Lily? What happened to Noah’s mother?

My Thoughts:

Jess Ryder always hooks me with her plot twists and suspense! This was an amazing thriller that kept me guessing what happens next. I was hooked from the first chapter! What a pleasant surprise from an author I didn’t know much about!
