Ashley, Lauren, and Natalie have been friends for many years. Their friendships have had many negative aspects recently.  They travel to Tulum, Mexico to try to salvage their friendships. Their last night in Mexico, Ashley goes missing and Natalie can’t remember what happened after she wakes up in a wet dress on the beach the next morning.

The book goes between the three girls’ perspectives and the days prior and the days after. It is difficult to keep the perspectives and days straight, and I kept getting the girls mixed up.

The characters are incredibly unlikable and the arguments between the friends are sad and depressing.

It is a suspenseful read, but there isn’t many enjoyable moments regarding the characters at all.

It is a quick read; I would give it about 3.5 out of 5 stars.
