Summary:
Christopher and Hannah have a perfect marriage and wonderful life, but they have struggled with infertility. One day, Janie shows up at the hospital where Christopher works as a doctor and Hannah works as a nurse. Janie is an abandoned little girl who has been visibly abused and neglected. Janie is a difficult child who attaches to Christopher. The couple brings Janie home with them, even though they have serious issues with Janie and her behavior.
My Thoughts:
Wow! Was this a disturbing book or what??! I can’t figure out if it was more disturbing than Baby Teeth or just as equally disturbing.
It’s hard to go into detail without giving it all away, but if you liked Baby Teeth, you will like this book. But be prepared for how disturbing it is!!
