Short story review: Buried by Jeffrey Deaver (Hush Collection)

Summary:

This is a part of Amazon’s summer short story grouping called Hush Collection. All of the short stories and the Audible addition are free with Prime right now.

Fitz is a journalist who stumbles upon a breaking story about a serial killer named Gravedigger. Gravedigger has been taunting the police with riddles, but Fitz can’t figure out the motive.

My Thoughts:

The beginning was a little slow, but it really picked up the second half of the story. I enjoyed the characters, and descriptions of the places were really well done. The details that Deaver portrayed were realistic. I thought this was a really well done mystery.
