Summary:
William comes home from work early after his mistress ends their affair. Shockingly, his daughter, Avery, is at home when she was supposed to be at school. After arguing with Avery, she leaves. Only she ends up not coming back and missing!
My Thoughts:
I always enjoy Shari Lapena’s books. This would be considered a domestic mystery in my opinion since it is central to a neighborhood issue. This will keep you guessing until the end. The little girl’s age a seems a little young for her actions when the investigation looks into what leads up to the events. I always love these fun domestic neighborhood mysteries though!
