Book Review: The Trapped Wife by Samantha Hayes

Summary:

Dr. Jennifer Miller is a small town doctor who has been recently widowed. Besides the detriment of losing her husband, Jennifer recently learned she is pregnant after a one night stand several weeks ago. The man, Scott, shows up and begins to infiltrate into Jennifer’s life.

Summary:

I would consider this to be a domestic drama as opposed to a thriller. It focuses more on the drama in Jennifer’s life that she encounters after her husband’s death.

I enjoyed Samantha Hayes other books a lot more than The Trapped Wife. Jennifer was an in likable character that makes extremely questionable decisions, so it was really painful as a reader to have Jennifer continue to make these poor decisions.

I would definitely read another book by Samantha Hayes, but I really enjoyed her other books a lot more.
