Summary:
Lila Bennett is a ruthless lawyer whose life is basically spinning out of control due to personal problems in her marriage and at work. This novel mimics the pattern of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Maybe in Another Life as it switches from two different plots of what would happen in Lila’s life if one small decision would have changed.
My Thoughts:
I’ve enjoyed past books by the authors and was excited to receive this for free from Amazon Prime. This was very suspenseful because I wanted to know so badly which one was the way it was going to end. It was a quick read that was good for anyone looking for a short and suspenseful thriller with a satisfying ending.
