Book review: The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley

Summary:

Jess needs to get away, so she contacts her brother and heads to Paris to stay with Ben.

When Jess arrives, Ben is nowhere to be found. As Jess questions some of his neighbors and digs deeper, Jess worries that something terrible has happened to Ben.

The novel alternates between the tenants in the apartment building to unfold the mystery of where Ben has gone.

My Thoughts:

I really liked the last two books by Lucy Foley, so I was excited to read this book. Unfortunately it was much slower to build up to the ending which was a bit of a let down. The characters were extremely dramatic in their narration of the events and really unlikable.

I had high hopes but had a bit of a let down. I won’t give up on Lucy Foley though!
